Preparing for Your Dog’s Stay at Kylie’s K9 Country Retreat
At Kylie’s K9 Country Retreat, we’re committed to providing personalised, professional care. To help us create the best experience for your dog, please let us know when you arrive if your pet:
- Is frightened by storms or loud noises
- Has ever climbed fences or tried to escape
- Has any medical conditions
- Is friendly (or prefers space) around other dogs
The more we know, the better we can tailor their stay to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and at home.
Saying Goodbye – Helping Your Dog Settle In
Leaving your beloved dog can be hard, keeping drop-offs quick and calm helps them settle faster. We recommend saying your goodbyes at home and letting our experienced team warmly guide them into their holiday routine. You can leave knowing your dog will be loved and cared for like family.
Vaccination Requirements
For the safety of all our guests, we require all dogs to have a current C5 vaccination, administered at least 14 days prior to arrival.
This covers: Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza (flu), and Bordetella (kennel cough).
Certificates can be uploaded to your booking profile or presented on arrival.
While no vaccination offers complete protection, maintaining up-to-date vaccinations helps protect every dog in our care.
Medications and Special Diets
If your dog requires medication or special food, please:
- Bring enough for the entire stay and some spare
- Leave medications in their original packaging or clearly label what they are
- Clearly label all food with what it is and detailed instructions
